New Deer Run Hollow Signage Update Edit page

Earlier this year, the HOA Board sent out a survey to collect votes on a new design for our signage at the entrances to the HOA on Cindy Lane (at Sitterly) and Jason Lane (at Kasper).  The board solicited multiple designs from local companies and down-selected to the two options presented to the HOA.  The survey concluded on the date of our Annual Meeting, and the results were presented to those in attendance at that meeting.

The two design options were:

The voting results:  54 households voted.
55.5% for Option 2, 37% for Option 1, and 7.5% no preference.

Therefore, after the 2025 Annual HOA Meeting the board proceeded with Option 2.

The new signs are currently being fabricated and we expect them to be installed in early Fall.

Note: The need to replace the signs is because they are currently constructed partially of wood (core) and both are rotting inside significantly.  Additionally, over the years the colors have faded.  So, last year the board voted to replace them and use the opportunity to seek new designs.  The decision was made during the October 2024 board meeting, and proposals were reviewed during the April 2025 board meeting prior to the survey.
